Benzene prices drive up in Europe & US last week

Benzene prices drove up in Europe & US in the last week ended April 17 due to gain in downstream product prices in the region.

In Europe, average prices surged by US$ 75/ton or 9.68 per cent and were quoted at US$ 850/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In US, average prices went up by 10 cents/gallon and were assessed at 280 cents/gallon in the last week, up 3.70 per cent from its previous week.
