Benzene prices drop in US last week

Benzene prices stepped down in US in the last week because of weaker upstream energy values in the region.
In US, average prices declined by 5 cents/gallon and secured at 265 cents/gallon, a fall of 1.85 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices decreased by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 780/ton, a reduction of 1.27 per cent in the previous week due to dull buying activities in the region.
