Benzene prices fall in US last week

Benzene prices assessed down in the US in the last week due to lethargic demand trends in the region.
In the US, average prices marginally lowered from 5 cents/gallon and recorded at 290 cents/gallon in the last week, registering a drop of 1.69 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
Meanwhile, In Europe average prices surged a bit by US$ 5/ton and traded at US$ 865/ton in the last week over the previous week, an enhancement of 0.58 per cent due to lift in buying interest in the region.
