Benzene prices in Asia increase last week

Benzene prices in Asia rose in the earlier week due to strong upstream energy rates in the region.
In Korea, average prices soared by US$ 15/ton in the previous week to US$ 870/ton as compared to US$ 855/ton in the week before, up by 1.75 per cent.
In Japan, average prices improved by US$ 10/ton in the last week to US$ 875/ton from US$ 865/ton in the preceding week, an improvement of 1.16 per cent.
In India, average prices went up by 1.15 per cent and were traded at US$ 880/ton in the past week, a jump of US$ 10/ton over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week at US$ 870/ton.
