Benzene prices in Europe escalate previous week

In the last week, benzene prices in Europe hiked because of increased buying sentiments in the region.
In Europe, average prices increased by US$ 25/ton in the past week to US$ 860/ton as compared to US$ 835/ton in the week before, up by 2.99 per cent.
In the US, average prices drifted up by 5 cents/gallon in the earlier week due to higher upstream energy rates and were valued at 290 cents/gallon, a rise of 1.75 per cent from 285 cents/gallon in the preceding week.
