Benzene prices in US edge down preceding week

Benzene prices in the US moved down in the previous week due to softer buying trends in the region.
The average prices in the US decreased by 1.75 per cent in the preceding week at 280 cents/gallon as against 285 cents/gallon in the last week.
The average prices in Europe remained unaffected at US$ 855/ton in the prior week as against the previous week, due to subdued trading activity.
