Benzene prices surge in US last week

Benzene prices went up in US in the last week due to favorable market conditions in the region.
In US, average prices moved up by 15 cents/gallon and quoted at 265 cents/gallon, an enhancement of 6 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, Benzene prices improved by US$ 55/ton and assessed at US$ 845/ton, a hike of 6.96 per cent as compared to the previous week due to robust business activity in the region.
