Canclini 1925, a point of reference worldwide for shirt fabric manufacturing, is participating for first time at Denim Première Vision (PV) show in London, from today onwards. The company is showing its restyled collection Blue 1925, a choice driven by its intent of expanding the denim market. The Blue 1925 models make for a strong and trendy range.

Canclini’s target, first and foremost, is the North European market, already sensitive and well-structured with regard to the issue, also paying attention to the international scene and the overlapping of trends and contaminations.

The new Blue 1925 is a kaleidoscopic line which combines weights, fibres and types of fabric, in a true melting-pot of ideas and inspirations, designed to meet all possible requirements. The restyled Blue 1925 proposals include a broad spectrum of alternatives, suggesting a new approach, offering the client total interpretation freedom, in order to target several generations. It is exactly the inter-generational aspect that characterises the style touches in this range, designed to meet the ambitions and expectations of modern-day denim lovers. From generation x, through y, to z, Blue 1925 is a line capable of providing a set of alternatives to create unique aesthetics, always preserving the high quality of the Canclini 1925 trademark.

The goal is to amaze and stimulate, thanks to the pleasant hand of these garments, with blue and indigo nuances, but also to over-dyeing in trendy colours, to design complete outfits including shirt, trousers, t-shirts, overshirts and more. A perfect proposal to meet the interests and ambitions of young audiences, similar but at the same time different –through new and alternative communication and relationship styles.

An innovative and versatile line which includes various weights for each item, from light to medium, as well as heavier models. There are also plenty of alternatives in terms of type of fabric: from garment- to yarn-dyed, shuttle-loom developed, as well as jersey, jacquard fil-coupé and printed materials.

The new Blue 1925 models are also made using innovative and sustainable fibres. Apart from the ever-present indigo and cotton, there are linen, hemp and bamboo fabrics, as well as regenerated cotton, for a green and responsible denim. The sensitivity of the Canclini 1925 world as regards sustainable innovation is confirmed, a trait found in all collections, thanks to the use of recycled fibres, to the attention paid to water and chemical requirements, as well as to a careful selection of partners embracing the same ethics.

Another special event in the trade fair is the workshop ‘Learn how to Re-trace an iconic pant!’ run by Alessio Berto, from The Tailor Pattern Support, today and tomorrow at 10 am – 12.30 pm and 3 pm, will be focusing on the importance of pattern-making in order to create a perfect pair of jeans. The workshop will also feature bags containing rivets, buttons and all that needs to make a pair of jeans, branded Blue1925, produced using Heritage fabric.

Blue 1925 is the line of indigo and sportswear fabrics by Canclini 1925, offering the market a proposal which is always cool and 100 per cent denim. It is a project developed in synergy with another leader in the sector, Intex, a company which follows all the dyeing and finishing processes on garments: a perfect match for Canclini’s international expertise in the world of shirt manufacturing. This partnership guarantees the highest quality standards and constant product research, which have made it possible to achieve outstanding production levels, providing flexible and reliable service.

“With this collection we wish to give our counterparts the possibility of creating ad-hoc aesthetics, able to interpret various personalities, combining uniqueness, good taste, high quality and great innovation. Regardless of the generation you are targeting, and any garment you might wish to present, you are bound to find the most suitable alternative in our new collection Blue 1925,” said Mauro Canclini, style director at Canclini 1925.
