Bordeaux showing comprehensive ink solutions at Drupa

Digital inks producer Bordeaux Digital Printink will present comprehensive ink solutions at Drupa in hall 5, stand B39.
The printed items include textile for fashion and a range of home décor items such as furniture and wall decoration as well as industrial applications such as counter tops, tiles and personal items.
Bordeaux will have a hands-on printing demonstration of its 'one ink for all fabrics' textile ink which will showcase printing on a number of fabric types with the same ink using one simple digital printing line.
“The new water based pigment inks mark a new era in digital textile printing, simplifying the printing process and allowing every print shop to print for textile applications,” a Bordeaux press release said.
“In addition, these inks mark a significant reduction in digital textile printing costs that allow textile manufacturers to print with one ink on any type of fabric, with equally great results,” the company added.
Bordeaux will also present its solutions for industrial printing showcasing a range of tailor made inks for specific applications, as well as the ability to custom-formulate UV curable inks for every need.
The company's R&D division, one of the digital printing market's most leading innovators, will be present in Drupa and will explore with customers the potential business cooperation options.
The company's latest development in document finishing, scented coatings will also be presented at the stand, for visitors to view and smell.
“These UV curable coatings come in a wide range of different scents, adding value to every commercial printing application,” Bordeaux informed.
The new scented coatings add to Bordeaux's current line of water based and UV curable coatings for sign, banner and vehicle graphic applications.
“We are bringing a new approach to Drupa with one brand that houses all inkjet solutions,” Guy Evron, marketing director at Bordeaux said.
“Our new added solution for textile, one pigment ink for all types of fabrics is not only changing the textile printing arena but also completes the missing piece of the puzzle for print shop owners,” he too added.
“With our solvent, UV and now textile solutions print shops have the advantage of getting a full range of solutions and support from a single and reliable source,” Evron informed.
