British Wool has launched a new show card to their partners in the USA depicting the natural, environmental benefits of choosing British Wool carpet.
'British Wool…Naturally Green' clearly emphasises the origin of British Wool on the sheep and pictures the stunning Swaledale breed in its lush natural habitat. The 'Naturally Green' show cards will be distributed to specific retailers for use in their showrooms via licensed British Wool manufacturers.
A fibre of natural origin, British Wool is a fully sustainable resource and is a strong, durable, luxury fibre for carpet. Wool has significant environmental advantages for carpet - it is grown, not made and offers to the carpet inherent characteristics that give it a robust bounce-back. This helps resist tracking and pathways from footfall and provides good appearance over many years.
“We have a natural fibre that is perfect for carpet and following results from our recent environmental impact study – now poses a validated and superb eco-option for carpet, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.” Explained Tim Booth, product development manager at the British Wool Marketing Board.
