Buyer-Seller Meet at India Chem Gujarat a success

In cooperation with Fibre2Fashion, a Buyer-Seller Meet was organised by FICCI on the second day of India Chem Gujarat 2015 exhibition held from October 28-30, 2015 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, which saw over 90 buyers and sellers meeting each other and discussing business.

The Buyer-Seller Meet in which Fibre2Fashion was a marketing partner was aimed at fostering better business relations between buyers from the textile industry and suppliers of dyes and chemicals participating at India Chem Gujarat 2015.

Beginning at 10 AM, buyers and sellers started assembling in the special enclosure created in the trade show hall and included those from all parts of India, like Gujarat, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, etc. They came from Malaysia and Germany as well.

Buyers and sellers revealed their full satisfaction at the Buyer-Seller Meet as they got to meet one-to-one either new buyers or sellers on one platform and sounded optimistic about doing business with a few of those they had met, in the near future.

Marian Knappert, liaison manager, Biesterfeld International GmbH stated, “We deal in various chemicals and I am here to network with potential clients. I met around three buyers and am optimistic that something will work out with them. I am glad that the organisers have added the Buyer-Seller Meet to the exhibition, as this is a one-stop place where you meet buyers as well as sellers.

Nikunj Parekh, vice president, Kunjal Synergies Pvt Ltd, Kolkata, said, “We are here at the Buyer Seller Meet to meet buyers as well as manufacturers of other chemicals from whom we can buy. We met a couple of interesting and prospective buyers and also met a supplier. The Buyer-Seller Meet has more than met my expectations.”

Monali Trivedi, assistant marketing manager (Industrial Products) at Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers (GNFC), an exhibitor, was of the opinion that the Buyer-Seller Meet is a good platform where one can meet buyers across the table. “I met three buyers, who afterwards also visited our stall. The Buyer-Seller Meet is a very good idea,” Trivedi informed.
