China will offer all least developed countries (LDCS) with which it has diplomatic ties zero-tariff treatment for all tariff lines, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council recently announced.Effective from December 1 this year, the treatment aims at expanding unilateral opening to these LDCs and foster bilateral development, a statement by the commission said.
For products subject to tariff quota administration, goods within the quota will enjoy zero tariffs, while tariff rates on goods exceeding that will stay unchanged, according to a state-run media outlet.
