China's textile & garment exports fetch $230 bn till Oct

Textiles and garment exports earned $230.8 billion for China in the first ten months of 2018, according to customs statistics. Exports of textiles, including yarn, fabric and related products, fetched $98.97 billion, registering a growth of 9.9 per cent year-on-year. On the other hand, garment and clothing accessories exports grew by 1.2 per cent to $131.83 billion.
In October 2018, China’s textiles and apparel exports stood at $23.25 billion. Of this, exports of yarn, fabric and related products earned $9.74 billion while apparel and apparel accessories exports fetched $13.51 billion. (RKS)
