In the first half this year, fabric exports accounted for 50.9 percent of China's textile and garment exports to ASEAN, to garner the highest share among exports to ASEAN from the sector.
Fabric export volume realized 2.985 billion meters, up 17.5 percent year on year, export value reached US $ 4.73 billion, an increase of 53.1 percent year on year.
Among them, exports of cotton fabrics were 750 million meters, representing the largest export volume, up 9.6 percent year on year, export value was US $1.47 billion, a rise of 54.5 percent year on year.
Garment exports accounted for 23.6 percent; export value marked US $2.19 billion, up 15.7 percent year on year. Of which, exports of cotton woven garment and knitted garment increased by 74.5 percent and 31.7 percent, year on year.
