China's PX imports (Tariff No.29024300) reached 522,000 tons in September 2011, representing an increase of 61,600 tons, when compared with its previous month, up 13.37 percent.
PX imports also rose by a massive 195,300 tons compared with September last year, an increase of a stupendous 60.12 percent, according to customs statistics.
The September average import price was US $1,591 / ton, a 7.53 percent increase from the average price in August, and a 74.75 percent increase over the same time last year.
