Waterborne Insqin technology, which eliminates dimethyl formamide from polyurethane fabric manufacturing process, solvent-free polyurethane dispersions with improved touch and feel, and dispersions enabling water-resistant and breathable textile coatings are a few innovations by German firm Covestro, according to Torsten Pohl, global head, textile coatings.
