CSI releases Color Analysis report for A/W 2020

Color Solutions International (CSI), a member of the dyestuff and chemical manufacturer, DyStar Group, has released the sixth edition of the Color Analysis report for Autumn/Winter 2020. New for this season, the experts at CSI have delved deeper by giving more detail for each colour using their proprietary Relative Color Popularity process (RCP).
RCP is a marriage of colour validation with trend colour forecasting. The RCP report has been organised into four categories to help validate your colour selection. In the new edition, 54 ColorWall colours are featured along with additional colour validation, colour evolution, and direction by hue, according to a press release by CSI.
“This season’s report found its inspiration in our heritage and reconnection of our roots. We look from the past to present day reality to shape the themes of trends reflected in the spirit of time we are living in. From a time gone by to this moment of now, themes take shape as they transform historic elements into modern day life, intertwining together to create a new existence full of creative energy and vitality,” Heather Sandwall, CSI colour and trend director said.
“We are passionate about the impact colour has on mindset, lifestyle, art, culture. We are continually rediscovering how colours intermix together and how each hue flows from deep intensity to softer tints. For us, it is about understanding the mood and creating new combinations that reflect our individual reality. It is about expression beyond convention in a celebration of ideas, solutions and the splendour of an authentic lifestyle,” he added.
The colour forecast is essential for product designers, colour managers, and buyers working in textiles, apparel, accessories, decor, interiors, and cosmetics. Color Analysis includes seasonal colour palettes selected from a wide range of approximately 3,700 CSI ColorWall colours. Colourful, informative, and inspirational, the semi-annual trend report is available to purchase individually or as a subscription.
