SS14 will open with a blast of up & coming design talent. Danish designer Asger Juel Larsen puts on the official opening show and is sure to bring some drama to the runway with his avant-garde silhouettes and sophisticated mix of the androgynous, romantic and futuristic gothic.
It is Asger Juel Larsen’s fourth time showing in Copenhagen after graduating from London College of Fashion in 2009 and his talent has tickled audience and critics alike. This time Juel Larsen sets the scene in the beautiful surroundings of the Copenhagen City Hall dating from 1900.
It has become tradition for the summer Fashion Week to open with a rising design star. Prior to Asger Juel Larsen designers like Anne Sofie Madsen and Freya Dalsjö have opened Copenhagen Fashion Week.
