The board of directors for American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) has voted to promote Diana Wyman to the role of executive vice president (EVP), as Brian Francois, current EVP for AATCC has decided to pursue another opportunity and will depart his current role effective July 26. Wyman currently serves as technical director for AATCC. Wyman brings a passion for AATCC, its members, and the textile industry into her new role having held previous positions within AATCC as well as industry. She has a BA in fashion merchandising from Radford University, an MS in textiles from North Carolina State University, and an MBA from Meredith College, according to a press release by AATCC.
AATCC is the world’s leading not-for-profit association serving textile professionals since 1921. AATCC, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, NC, US, provides test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking for members in about 50 countries throughout the world.
