Dutch inflation eases in November as consumer prices fall MoM

Dutch consumer prices rose 2.9 per cent YoY in November, easing from 3.1 per cent in October, according to CBS.
Prices fell 0.8 per cent MoM due to seasonal factors such as clothing sales.
The HICP increased 2.6 per cent, while euro area inflation inched up to 2.2 per cent.
Energy prices fell across the eurozone but rose in the Netherlands.

Consumer goods and services in the Netherlands were 2.9 per cent more expensive in November 2025 than a year earlier, easing from 3.1 per cent in October, according to Statistics Netherlands (CBS). On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, consumer prices fell by 0.8 per cent, reflecting typical seasonal movements such as discounted clothing during sales periods.

The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) showed a 2.6 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in November, down from 3 per cent in October. Across the euro area, inflation edged up from 2.1 per cent in October to 2.2 per cent in November, CBS said in a press release.

Energy prices in the eurozone were lower in November, while in the Netherlands they increased YoY.
