Ethylene prices climb in US last week

Ethylene prices gained a bit in the US in the last week due to gain in buying interest coupled with bullish upstream energy values in the region.
In the US, average prices stepped up by 2 cents/pound and secured at 20 cents/pound in the last week, showing a hike of 11.11 per cent as compared to the previous week.
Meanwhile, In Europe average prices jumped up by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 1195/ton in the last week, after a surge of 0.42 per cent as compared to the previous week due to higher cues from the US region.
