European & US benzene prices down from mute buying trends

Benzene prices fell in Europe & US on Thursday (9th Oct) due to weak upstream energy prices coupled with mute buying trend in the region.
In Europe, prices went down by US$ 50/ton or 3.66 percent and were quoted at US$ 1315/ton on Thursday, as compared to Wednesday.

In US too, benzene prices went down by 2 cents/gallon and were assessed at 415 cents/gallon yesterday, as compared to 8th Oct, a decrease of 0.48 percent.
