European & US benzene prices knocked down last week

Benzene prices were knocked down in Europe & US in the last week ending Jan 30, due to sluggish product demand in the region.

In Europe, average prices plunged down by US$ 40/ton or 6.40 per cent and were quoted at US$ 585/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In US, average prices drove down by 5 cents/gallon and were assessed at 205 cents/gallon last week, down 2.38 per cent as against its previous week.
