European & US ethylene prices drop last week

Ethylene prices dropped in Europe and US in the last week ended Dec 18 from weak upstream energy prices in the region.
In Europe, average prices slipped by US$ 30/ton or 3.13 per cent and were quoted at US$ 930/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices climbed down by 5 cents/pound and were assessed at 15 cents/pound in the last week, down a steep 25 per cent as against its prior week.
