Fine Japan zone to display at Intertextile Pavilion

A debut Fine Japan zone, featuring apparel, fabrics and accessories will be exhibiting at the Intertextile Pavilion organised by Messe Frankfurt which kicks off from July 7-9, 2016. Nearly 700 exhibitors are set to participate in the 2016 edition of Intertextile Pavilion.

Exhibitors at the fair will showcase a wide range of high-quality fabrics for womenswear, casual wear, lingerie, swimwear, suiting, silk, jacquard, print, wool, cotton, man-made, spun, denim, knitting fabrics, accessories, lace, embroidery, leathers, furs, yarns, fibres, design, testing products and services in halls 6, 7 and 9 of the Shenzhen convention and exhibition centre.

From Japan, companies like SunWell Solutions, Uni Textil Inc, Toko Shoji will be exhibiting at the fair. “Since the South China market is always pursuing new materials and fashion styles, there is so much potential to be found. As a result, it's a must for us to be here to promote our collections and cutting edge fashion culture,” said Hiroshi Kawabata, sales manager, SunWell Solutions.

“Many of our target companies attend the fair, so it's necessary for us to be a part of this. The fast growing South China apparel industry has demand for high-quality products, so the markets in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other nearby cities are indispensable for us,” said Bulong Xu, of Uni Textil Inc.

“There are so many famous womenswear brands located in this region who demand good quality fabrics; therefore, it's important for us to participate in the fair to seek long-term business partners,” said Masao Ban, manager of Toko Shoji. Toko Shoji will bring various styles of thick wool-blended fabrics and hard textured lightweight jersey to the fair.

In addition to the new Fine Japan zone, the returning Taiwan Pavilion has expands 50 per cent in scale this year to cater to growing interest in the South China textile market.

“The Taiwan exhibitors will present a series of high end products from raw materials to fabrics, such as yarns for special fabric use, designed high-end jacquard fabrics, lace, print, knitted fabrics, computer embroidered items, fashionable jersey, high-end Tencel cotton, Tencel linen weaving, pure linen plain weave and denim fabrics,” said Jane Fang, Taiwan Textile Federation's (TTF) market development department project manager.
