Grasim Industries, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, has named Vadiraj Kulkarni as the new business head of its Cellulosic Fibres division, effective April 1, 2025. He succeeds HK Agarwal, who has transitioned to the role of Group Advisor at Aditya Birla Management Corporation Private Limited (ABMCPL).

Kulkarni brings over 28 years of leadership experience across P&L management, operations, and manufacturing. Before joining the Aditya Birla Group in October 2024, he served as the chief executive officer of ITC Limited’s Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division. His expertise spans agro products, tobacco, and the pulp and paper sectors.

Kulkarni holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal.

“We thank HK Agarwal for his significant contributions and leadership in guiding the Cellulosic Fibres business,” the company said in a LinkedIn post announcing the transition.
