Groz-Beckert stall at ITMA 2015 hosts around 10,000 guests

The Groz-Beckert stall at ITMA 2015 hosted more than 10,000 guests from 85 countries, off these, 11.5 per cent came from Italy, 10.2 per cent from India, 10.1 per cent from Turkey and 9.5 per cent from Germany.
In addition to numerous product innovations and new developments Groz-Beckert presented at ITMA 2015, a completely new booth concept and a new corporate design.
Groz-Beckert presented under the theme 'Living in a Textile World' and demonstrated through exhibits and video clips, that it is possible to save resources and improve productivity by using intelligent products.
“Groz-Beckert chose realistic seeming textile machinery made of acrylic glass for product presentation in the segments of knitting, weaving, felting, tufting, carding and sewing,” it said in a press release.
For each product area, the company displayed acrylic glass machines, which made the application area visible, like knitting machine needles and system parts and their perfectly matched interaction.
Groz-Beckert launched the knitting needle LightSpeed Plus, by the use of which, it is possible to reduce energy consumption up to 20 per cent compared to conventional needles.
Another novelty was the presentation of the new product range 'Carding', which was represented for the first time at a Groz-Beckert stall.
In the Weaving segment, the area of Felting focused on product solutions for filtration and the Tufting segment showed the enhanced 'Gauge Part System', consisting of tufting needle, grippers, reed fingers and cutter.
Groz-Beckert is a leading provider of industrial machine needles, precision parts and fine tools as well as systems and services for the production and joining of textile fabrics.
The family-owned company, founded in 1852, employs nearly 7,700 people and generated a turnover of around €570 million in 2014.
