Heimtextil Russia 2016 sees 17,656 visiting buyers

Heimtextil Russia 2016, which was held from September 20-23, 2016, witnessed 17,656 buyers visiting the show, which hosted 229 exhibitors from 18 countries. These countries included Austria, Bulgaria, China, Egypt, Finland, Georgia, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Netherlands, Pakistan, Portugal, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam and others.

Alongside there were national pavilions from Germany, China, Egypt, Pakistan and Turkey at the fair for home textiles, floor coverings and interior furnishings.

This year, several B2B programmes were conducted during the trade fair days, where visitors had a chance to meet with company representatives.

A special project 'Heimtextil Russia Online Mania' was held at the Heimtextil global booth. It featured representatives of leading Russian portals in interior design and online stores retailing home and interior textiles.

In contract textiles, the highlight was on products like kitchen textiles, table decoration, curtains, wallpaper, wall coverings, carpets, furniture upholstery, etc used in restaurants, bars, cafes, night clubs and others. (AR)
