High demand for machines making knitted fabrics, fleece: Danti Paolo

As more people are working from home, the demand for raising and shearing machines to produce fleece and knitted fabrics that are used in comfortable sportswear is more compared to raising, shearing and polishing machines for high quality wool and cashmere woven fabrics used to produce formal wear, according to the directors of Danti Paolo.
Talking about the pandemic, Antonio Danti, sales and marketing director, and Alessandro Danti, R&D director, said that the first months of the pandemic were challenging for the company as it had to re-think the way it contacted its customers and suppliers.
“It was particularly difficult to organise the flow of components and raw materials, but in short time we were able to adapt to this new challenge,” Alessandro told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
