IMI Europe has announced the invited speaker and panel session programme for its strategic Digital Printing Conference event. The event will be held at the Novotel Barcelona City Hotel, Barcelona, Spain on September 19-20, 2018, with supporting events on September 17-18 including Market Reports Live sessions and the world-famous Inkjet Academy.

IMI Europe’s flagship strategic industry conference event is the trusted primary source of high value information for senior executives and commercial managers. It is intended for those wishing to understand the direction of the industry over the coming years, from a business and technology perspective, said the organiser in a press release.

The invited presentation programme will include market updates from leading analysts – IT Strategies and InPrint; updates and views from industry pacesetters Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, Gallus, Sensient, and Xaar; key end user perspectives from Janoschka, Interprint, BHS Corrugated Maschinen and Ritzi; and new technology introductions from inkjet innovators Memjet, Neenah Coldenhove, Ingede, Archipelago Technology and Steinemann.

The programme has been planned with input from the conference Strategic Advisory Board comprising Ramon Borrell, chief technology officer, Xaar, Marco Boer, vice president, IT Strategies, Montserrat Peidró, senior vice president – head of digital print business unit, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, Denis Poncelet, marketing & sales development director – Inks Europe, Sensient Imaging Technologies and Mike Willis, chairman, IMI Europe & managing director, Pivotal Resources.

The conference programme will also include panel sessions covering the key topics of Packaging and Industrial Applications, with the panels chaired by and including industry leaders. The IMI Europe Digital Printing Conference will be preceded by supporting events like Inkjet Academy and Market Reports Live.

With 20 years of experience and success the Inkjet Academy is the ideal way to gain the fundamental knowledge and understanding of inkjet technology. The event will be delivered by Dr Alan Hudd of Alchemie Technology and Mike Willis of Pivotal Resources, the founders of the Inkjet Academy.

At the Market Reports Live event, leading analysts and experts will present modules covering key inkjet applications: digital textile printing from World Textile Information Network (WTiN), and digital packaging printing from Keypoint Intelligence - Infotrends.

“We have an excellent programme of strategic content in place for our Digital Print Europe event, with a superb speaker and panel line-up for the Digital Printing Conference, and a great set of supporting events from our valued partners,” said Tim Phillips, managing director, IMI Europe. “IMI and IMI Europe conferences have always been the forum where the industry discusses the future, and this event continues this tradition. We look forward to welcoming a lively and informative debate.” (KD)
