IMI Europe to host conference on digital printing ink

IMI Europe, a leading provider for digital printing conferences and courses in Europe and Asia, will host a two-day technical conference on the development and manufacturing of digital printing ink from 13-14 April, 2016 at Lausanne, Switzerland, for the benefit of inkjet fluid manufacturers from the textile, packaging, graphic, industrial and functional printing industry, according to a press statement issued by the company.

The event will cover several 20-30 minutes' speeches from various experts of the digital printing industry. The technical advisory board for the conference is formed of renowned names from the industry like Dr Thomas Benen from Microtrac, Dr Philip Double from Fujifilm Imaging Colorants and Dr Holly Steedman from Indujet.

The conference will deal with techniques, equipments and materials for digital printing ink development, and will address a vast number of issues related to resins and polymers, additives, colorants, photoinitiators, material dispersions and analytical equipments and techniques. The event will also address issues related to consistency in manufacturing, the impact of additives on formulation performance, creating stable dispersions, raw material quality, etc.
