The guidelines set under The Jeans Redesign project are based on the principles of Circular Economy.

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation was launched in 2010 with the aim of accelerating the transition to the circular economy. Their “Make Fashion Circular” brings together leaders from across the fashion industry, including brands, philanthropists, NGOs, and innovators. The Jeans Redesign project is a set of new guidelines to tackle the harmful practices associated with the current production of jeans.
