The company will display furniture prepared out of fabrics made from Kornit Allegro, its roll-to-roll digital pigment printer. Turnowsky's designs from its 'Flowers of Grace' portfolio will be used on the fabrics.
Flowers of Grace is the mastermind of its creative director, Ira Avezov. Turnowsky, for the first time, introduced realistic images in its design developed especially for Kornit Digital.
Commenting on the collaboration, Ira Avezov said, “In Turnowsky, we know how to design. But no matter how good your idea is, you need the ability to turn it into something. The unique colour gamut and flexibility of Kornit Allegro allows this transformation, with no compromise in the design quality. It is an amazing ability which we will continue to explore.”
On a further note, Guy Zimmerman, vice president of marketing and business development of Kornit Digital said, “Kornit's Allegro brings new business opportunities to the home textile industry. The company looks forward to Heimtextil 2016 which is one of the most significant platforms for us to meet manufacturers, retailers and designers from all around the world.”
The Kornit Allegro is the only true digital solution for textile printing. Unlike with alternative digital production technologies, the need for all external process steps such as pre-treatment and post treatment have been removed with the system. (MCJ)
