Liaoning Bora picks LyondellBasell's PP & PE tech

Liaoning Bora Petrochemical Co., Ltd has selected LyondellBasell’s world leading polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) technologies for three new plants. The plants will be constructed in Liaoning Bora’s new petrochemical complex in Panjin, Liaoning Province, China. LyondellBasell is the world’s largest licensor of polyolefin and PP technologies.

The new petrochemical complex will include two polypropylene units with a combined annual capacity of 600 KT which will use LyondellBasell’s Spherizone and Spheripol PP process technologies. The PP plants will be complemented with a 350 KT per year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant operating on the Hostalen ACP process technology.
