    Maruzen restarts naptha cracker unit

    Japan's Maruzen Petrochemical Co Ltd has restarted the operations at its 480,000 tonnes per year naphtha cracker in Chiba, east of Tokyo.

    The cracker was undergoing repairs after a gas leak from a compressor on June 20 had forced the company to shut down its operations at the unit.
