Messe Frankfurt starts ticket sales for Heimtextil show

Messe Frankfurt has announced the availability of tickets to visit the Heimtextil show to help visitors avoid long queues at the registration counters.
“With the online ticket, trade visitors can go straight through the entrances without having to wait in a queue, to register or to pay at the till, when they get there,” it explained.
As announced earlier, Heimtextil has also altered its sequence of days for the 2016 edition, which means it will open on Tuesday or January 12 and end on Friday or January 15, 2016.
“In altering the sequence of days for the show, the organisers are responding to the wishes of many of the exhibitors and visitors,” Messe Frankfurt, the organisers said in a press release.
“With more than 2,700 exhibitors and some 68,000 visitors, it is the leading world trade fair for home and contract textiles,” Olaf Schmidt, vice president textiles & textile technologies at Messe Frankfurt said.
“Saturday, for many of our visitors, particularly for specialist shops and individual retailers, an important day for sales and we want to fit in with that,” he added.
“Over and above this, our international visitors have indicated, in our polls on the subject, that they clearly prefer to arrive and leave on a weekday,” Schmidt observed. (AR)
