Miroglio Textile appoints Alessandro Colombo as CEO

Miroglio Textile, operating on the printed fabric, plain fabric, yarn, transfer paper, and technical film markets, has appointed Alessandro Colombo as its new chief executive officer. He will retain his role as business unit director of the company’s fabrics division, where he will coordinate and manage the unit’s teams in their respective activities.

Colombo has long-standing international experience in the textiles industry, having held roles of increasing responsibility in various companies both in Italy and abroad, in particular within the Marzotto. As a matter of fact, as general manager, he handled the reorganisation of C.G.F, while as director of the collections business unit at Ratti he subsequently dedicated himself above-all to the reorganisation of the BU, strategic development, and new business, according to Miroglio.

Colombo’s wide-ranging skills profile is an opportunity to give further impetus to the development and positioning of all Miroglio Textile’s business on both the Italian and export markets. The company is one of the most important concerns in the textiles sector in Europe. With four highly-specialised logistics and production sites, it provides bespoke services to the most demanding customers on the printed fabrics, yarns, transfer paper, and technical film markets.
