Moda announces content programme for AW20 season

Moda has announced its three-day content programme of exclusive content from market experts from across retail, including Selfridges, to explore the key issues facing fashion today, in the AW 20 season. To be held from February 23-25, 2020, in halls 6, 7, and 8 at the NEC Birmingham, Moda offers the ultimate environment for buying, networking, and trends.

The trade fair will discuss about equipping your business with a social media strategy fit for the future to how to create a more sustainable industry through collaboration. Every morning at the NEC-based show, the programme kicks off with an inspirational Moda Directions catwalk presentation bringing the AW20 trends to life. Following the catwalk, Moda’s trend partner, Unique Style Platform, delivers their AW20 Buyers Briefing, offering the essential colour, material and trend takeaways for the forthcoming season, according to a press release on the show.

Amy Hobson, partner and social media trainer - Social B will speak on ‘Create an active and engaged social media community for your brand’. Anthony Tattum, founder and CEO, Big Cat, will discuss on the topic ‘Reinvigorate your digital marketing strategy with sustainable credentials’.

Helen Goworek, associate professor - Durham University; Natascha Radclyffe-Thoma, reader, marketing and sustainable business - British School of Fashion; and Caroline Moraes, senior lecturer - Birmingham Business School will speak on ‘Build relationships that will create a greener future for the fashion industry’.

Visitors can gain insider insight into how Selfridges are building memorable experiences at The Selfridges Experience: Experience + New Thinking = Loyalty, with Joanna Kinsey, client and services manager at Selfridges. They can also hear experiences from across the industry on how to create a more sustainable future in footwear with Sam Hunt, director - Hunted Brands and Iris Anson, head of sustainability - Solely Original. The Styling Session: The New Style Rules will see take away top tips and tricks for styling the AW20/21 season with stylist, Beth Goodrham.
