Morrison to show latest in rope washing at ITMA Milan

Morrison Textile Machinery, a leader in Indigo rope dyeing, will show the industry's first significant advancement in rope washing with its patented Peak Washer in hall 14 booth H105 at the forthcoming international textile machinery exhibition ITMA 2015, to be held in Milan, Italy from November 12-19, 2015.

The revolutionary device Peak Washer saves 30-40 per cent in total water consumption with more gentle yarn handling than conventional configurations, the company said in a statement.

“A demonstration washer will be on hand to permit visitors to see how low levels of cascading wash water creates multiple, completely unique Water-Through-Web liquor exchanges, while simultaneously permitting the operator to see wash water colour and fine-tune flows, the statement said.

The Peak Washer is an integral advancement of the highly successful Spectrum 250 Indigo rope dye ranges, but this technology may also be retrofit to older existing dye ranges.

In addition to Peak Washer, the US based company will be featuring MDS single source systems for integrated shrinking ranges, Indigo rope dye ranges, MDS 450 Ball Warper with programmable Servo Driven Traverse, MDS 550 ReBeamer with Sheet Strummer and Reverse Drive Accumulator and Sanfor (S8) shrinking ranges with AutoGring and GrindVAC. Morrison-on-Call (MOC), a web based remote access system is standard supply on all MDS ranges. (RKS)
