Mute sentiments drive down Asian MEG last week

Mute buying sentiments in the region drove down Asian MEG prices in the last week ended May 29.

In SE Asia, average prices climbed down by US$ 40/ton or 4.15 per cent and were assessed at US$ 925/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In India, average prices reduced by US$ 40/ton and were quoted at US$ 925/ton in the last week, down 4.15 per cent as against its previous week.

In China, average prices declined by US$ 35/ton and were spotted at US$ 925/ton in the last week, a decrease of 3.65 per cent from its previous week.
