Carbon Fibre Recycling and Reuse conference in Hamburg

The world's first Carbon Fibre Recycling and Reuse is being held in the stunning city of Hamburg on 3-4 November 2009. The conference opens with an interactive workshop, presenting comprehensive brand new data from IntertechPira's forthcoming market report "Carbon Fibre Markets to 2015".

With presentations from key end users Boeing and Airbus, the main conference programme follows a networking lunch buffet and will be chaired by Professor Stephen Pickering, Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham. This session will feature:

*Taking the initiative on industrial recycling
*Carbon fibre recycling technologies: what goes in and what comes out
*Aerospace's role in the development of the recycled carbon fibre supply chain
*Strategy on recycled carbon fibre
*Light-weighting as a key development target on the automotive industry

The second day of the conference begins by discussing end user perspectives with speakers from aerospace and motor sports industries. Sessions also include:

*Recycling carbon fibre as an integral part of an integrated waste management stream
*Processing recycled fibres for nonwoven veils and mats
*The role of recycled carbon fibre composites in motor sport applications
*A carbon fibre manufacturer's perspective on recycling
*Recovering carbon fibre and more scrap composite material
