In the first three quarters of 2011, China's large-scale spinning enterprises produced 20.95 million tons of various types of yarn, an increase of 11.30 percent year on year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
Of which, production of pure cotton yarn rose 9.96 percent year on year, cotton blended yarn increased by 13.32 percent year on year and chemical fiber yarn grew 17.15 percent year on year.
Large-scale weaving enterprises produced 44.874 billion meters of fabrics, up 13.34 percent year on year.
Except for yarn-dyed fabric production, which fell 3.59 percent year on year, cotton fabrics, cotton blended fabrics and chemical fiber fabrics, achieved more than 10 percent growth year on year.
