Yeosu PP plant of Honam to go offstream in March

South Korea based - Honam Petrochemicals has planned to undertake maintenance turnaround of its Polypropylene (PP) plant in March 2012.

Revealing details to fibre2fashion, a Honam official said, “We have planned a maintenance shutdown in March 2012 of the polypropylene plant and it will stay off-stream for a period of 30 days.”

He added, “The plant located in Yeosu – South Korea has a capacity to produce 400,000 tons per annum of polypropylene”.

Honam has a total polypropylene production capacity of 900,000 tons per year which includes its plant located in Daesan.
