BDS report on Kolkata Leather Cluster

This library will have books on designing, advanced designing, the BDS Databank/Directory and various Audio-Visual Training Manuals in both English and Bengali that is in turn expected to benefit the MSMEs.
An exhibition of various design collections by FREYA – IIDF (one of our major BDSPs), mesmerized the spectators and proved to be the show-stealer.
The audience was enthralled when one after the other all the dignitaries present started sharing their views and experiences regarding the project.
Shri Sanjay Pal, Project Director & Team Leader, EDI started from the time when he had conceived the concept of the BDS project and went on to discuss the outcomes and sustainability that it gave to the individuals and the cluster as a whole.
Shri Darshan Singh Sabharwal, President, Indian Leather Products Association (ILPA), shared his views and experiences regarding the project.
