Chinese CPL spot import market appears light

China's caprolactam (CPL) spot import market experienced light trading atmosphere on January 3. Cargo operators gradually returned to the market and market offers were light.
Sporadic offers focused on US $2850 / ton (CFR China main port L/C 90 days). Downstream bids were at about $2750 / ton and market negotiation was in the range of $2800-2820 / ton.
The Chinese domestic CPL spot market appeared flat on January 3. Market trading atmosphere was calm and actual negotiation was scarce.
Offers were in the range of 22,800-23,000 Yuan / ton. Sporadic bids from downstream sector focused on 22,500 Yuan / ton and market discussion was around 22,500-22,800 Yuan / ton,
