JX Nippon to undertake maintenance at Propylene plant

JX Nippon based in Japan has planned a maintenance shutdown of its propylene plant in August.
A JX Nippon official told fibre2fashion that the plant located at Kawasaki OCU (Olefin Conversion Unit) will be shutdown for maintenance from the beginning of August.
He also added that the propylene plant with a capacity of 140,000 tons per year will remain shutdown till mid-October.
He went on add that the shutdown date has not been finalised yet.
