Between January and November last year, Spanish textile exports increased 17.2 percent from same period in 2010 to €9.08 billion and clothing shipments stood at €6.04 billion, up 20.8 percent.
In the same period, textile imports too rose 12.2 percent year-on-year amounting to €14.29 billion, while apparel imports grew to €10.96 billion, up 13.7 percent, said figures released by Ministry of Industry.
In November alone, textile exports jumped by 24.2 percent to €791.9 million from a year earlier, while garment shipments also rose by a massive 40.6 percent to €499.7 million.
