Getzner Textil AG, based in Bludenz town in the State of Vorarlberg in Austria, will be investing € 40 million during the next three years for expansion of its manufacturing facility.
In 2009, Getzner Textil had registered negative performance and its owners sought help from employees.
However, the company has performed well since then and its sales have risen about 30 percent. The contribution made by employees has been returned and the company is now investing in expansion of its production capacity.
The expansion plan includes setting up a new yarn dyeing facility, and increasing space for storage of goods.
In addition, the company is also undertaking centralization of all its logistic services to reduce delivery span, Georg Comploj, Chairman of Getzner, said.
Last year, there was a 15 percent increase in turnover of the company's two main products – one of which is shirting fabrics.
