Chinese PX imports rise massively in Dec

Chinese paraxylene imports fell in December from that in November, but rose in comparison to a year earlier.
In December 2011, China imported 406,900 tons of PX, down 95,400 tons or 18.9 percent, but increased by 101,800 tons or a massive 33.36 percent, from a year ago.
December average import price stood at US $1,465 / ton, a decline of 6.4 percent compared with average price in November, but up 15.83 percent year on year.
