Ethylene trends continue gallop, PTA & PX dip

Paraxylene (PX) price declined in Asian markets to around US$ 1630/ton. In S E Asian market, PX prices were at US$ 1625/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1625/ton to US$ 1630/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market stayed unchanged at US$ 1630/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA price continued to decline. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1190/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1185/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price was around RMB 8950/ton to RMB 9050/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price increased further in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In U.S.A market, ethylene price was in the range of 65.55 cents/pound to 66.25 cents/pound. In European market Ethylene offers were in the range of US$ 1525/ton to US$ 1530/ton.
MEG price declined in S E Asian markets and was offered in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8200/ton. In Chinese domestic market, counter offer prevailed around US$ 1065/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1645/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1655/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip was offered at RMB 11850/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was in the range of US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1560/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1550/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11300/ton.
PSF price fell in N Asian market, in the range of US$ 1755/ton to US$ 1760/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1660/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers remained in the range of RMB 12150/ton to RMB 12250/ton.
Polyester POY price went down in Chinese domestic market. POY price was around RMB 12000/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at RMB 12700/ton to RMB 13400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1640/ton, US$ 1730/ton and US$ 1825/ton, respectively.
